Equatio is a robust toolset best utilized on a Chromebook, or in a Chrome browser. Equatio is a similar tool to Read&Write, but it functions in the language of math. For instance if you use R&W and say "two plus two equals four" it will type that exactly. In Equatio the same thought would be presented as 2+2=4.

Any student on an IEP or 504 can receive Equatio from AT. Being evaluated for either of those documents does qualify the student for AT. Staff members can receive a free copy of Equatio following this link: Free R&W for Teachers

Good question! Yes, there are other supports available. The C-Pen and Clicker 7 are popular supports that overlap with Equatio. You can learn more on their specific pages, or contact an AT staff member to help ensure the student receives the correct piece of AT for their needs.
Yes! Equatio is connected to the students @dpsk12.net credential. Any machine they login to with that credential the Read & Write license will follow them.
Speech to text in the language of Math, Formula prediction, similar to word prediction, but for Math, and graphing supports. There is also a Mathspace section that contains virtual manipulatives, and the ability to creat and share lessons. Have more questions visit our Video Support Page.
